Week 11 Update

The team have been adapting to the non-cyclic set-up required due to Swak4foam not working. The team aim to have all results by the end of Week 12, as planned. The automation section has been completed with Allrun scripts all ready for the final simulations.

The ANSYS results were completed and hence a comparison study can be made between OpenFOAM and ANSYS Fluent.

As the mesh was completed last week, a mesh convergence study was undertaken to show the difference in quality of results dependent upon the refinement of the mesh and to also show that even though our final mesh is not fully refined, it still gives very good and valuable results.
