9 - Stuttgart Christmas Markets

In the last week of November, Stuttgart, along with most German cities, open their Christmas markets. Stuttgart’s Christmas markets were located at Schlossplatz and carried down to Rathaus (the Town Hall).

At the beginning of December, the team decided to venture into the city centre to see what was on offer at the Christmas markets. The market hosts a wide variety of traditional and more modern gifts such as Christmas baubles, candles and Christmas decorations.

Food and drink are a major part of the markets with the most popular drink being mulled wine and bratwurst being the most popular food. The markets are a great place to visit especially at night when it is the busiest. All in all, it is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
