On Sunday 7th October the team travelled to Constance, a small town on Lake Constance. By train, Constance is 2 and a half hours away from Stuttgart making it perfect for a day trip. Konstanz is a university city located at the western end of Lake Constance on the Germany/ Switzerland border.

Constance is a quiet, peaceful city with the harbour the main stopping point for most tourists. There are Lake tours departing from the harbour as well as many restaurants if you would rather sit and take in the atmosphere. At the end of the harbour is the Imperia statue, standing 9 metres high. This and Constance Cathedral are the main attractions within the small city.

The team enjoyed walking around the city on a lovely, sunny day where the temperature was 25 degrees Celsius. During the day, the team decided to take the short walk into Switzerland. Walking along the side of the lake there were marinas and picturesque views looking back to Constance and across the lake.
